Alec Pringle
Any car with delivery mileage only, whatever the marque or model, is completely out of the normal run of valuations. Ultimate collector's artefact for contemplation . . . . . if you use the car, you destroy its primary (and possibly unique) attribute. Cheers Alec

North London Mike
I think it looks great and worth the money ('cos you couldn't do it again for the money) and easy'ish to make it standard again ? ........but what do I know
Paul Harvey
I'm delighted to report that the new owner of the silver concours condition Italia is a UK Register member. After a short but intense collaboration we are able to announce the discovery of Italia #8 - a very early car which was assembled entirely by Vignale employees in 1959 before the main production run started. The full story will be in my next Registrar's report and I thank the new owner for allowing his new acquisition to be scrutinised. Italia 227
That's interesting news about #8. By my count from Adrian's site, this would make 108 cars known to survive + 2 cars known to have been scrapped / parted-out. Will there be ahoto of #8 for Adrian to post ? Paul Harvey
My previous post wasn't quite clear - #8 is the silver Italia which started this thread The car was formerly thought to be #82 and this will be updated to the website shortly.

Paul Harvey
We have also just 'rediscovered' #11 and think it is in Sweden. Anyone with any information about this red car with a black roof please let me know. The car was owned at one time by Bill Piggott who kindly supplied the pic. taken at Donington Weekend, 1978.
