Stevie P
Was there one on a TR7, or was it just the metal pedal pad? Steve
Chris59
Only metal, no pad. Edited October 14, 2013 by Chris59

Nigel Triumph
My 7 Sprint has no rubber on the throttle pedal (but no guarantee there couldn't have been one originally). Also, can't see one listed on Rimmer Bros site. Nigel
Alec Pringle
Hi Stevie, I don't recall having ever seen a pad on a Wedge accelerator pedal, and there is not one listed in my parts books immediately to hand. Cheers Alec
HowardB
I don't have one on mine at the moment, but just after I acquired it I recall purchasing one from Robsport. Like att the original throttle peddle rubbers it wore out and has not been replaced. However if the new MOT requires them to be fitted we will all be going out to buy them. Alec Pringle
Hi Steve, I've checked the Speke, Canley and Solihull vintage parts books, TR7 and TR8, definitely no accelerator pedal rubber. Intriguing to find that one book is dated 1977 . . . . TR8 ! Cheers Alec
Stevie P
Thanks Alec
BlueTR3A-5EKT
Hi Stevie, I don't recall having ever seen a pad on a Wedge accelerator pedal, and there is not one listed in my parts books immediately to hand. Cheers Alec In fact I do not think any TR was fitted with a rubber pad on the accelerator pedal as standard. The pedal rubber issue and MOT is to do with Brake Pedals only I think. That'll sort out the RevUp boys with their checker plate pedals!! See http://www.motuk.co.uk/manual_330.htm Cheers Peter W
moe and ess
i've got one one my accelerator pedal, it was on there when I purchased the car twelve years ago, never ever given it a thought whether it was standard or not until I saw this post Cheers Moe
Stevie P
Have you got a photo of the pedal Moe? Steve
DaveR
The Dolomite, HL, was fitted with a rubber pad on the accelerator pedal, The pedal is simular to the TR7. I suspect that is where the pad has come from. Dave
