Alec Pringle
Anna is right enough, the Italia isn't a girlie car and it isn't a she, but that's no excuse to name the blessed thing after Il Duce, which is the only connotation that Benito evokes to the average Englishman. Pun intended, but you'll need some Italian to suss that ! Call it what you will Paul, but the initial photographs brought only one sobriquet to my mind - so I'll continue to refer to your Italia as the Green Manalishi. Cheers Alec
Paul Harvey
Monica and Gina work for me (but not as a car name!) Mussolini and Fleetwood Mac will be very happy together. Meanwhile, I have an Italia to be known as 'the IT car'

Ragtag
The Italia passed the MOT today with no advisories. I love this car! This may be a 51 year old car on original Michelin X tyres The car passed an MOT with 51 year old tyres?
Paul Harvey
The original tyres are mint with no cracks or signs or deterioration. The MOT guy realised they were vintage tyres but said the was no reason to fail them. I've now substituted new painted wires and Vredestein Classic tyres for general road use and will put the original wheels on for shows.
