JANA
Apologies , but I think this has popped up before. Does anyone have a template to locate the TRIUMPH + TR4A + IRS badges on a Boot Lid? I'm guessing the boot lid was replaced by the PO , hence not holes to locate boot badges. Thanks in advance. Bob.
RogerH
Hi Bob, have a careful look on the inside to see if the PO simply filled them as in my case. I may be able to do a rubbing for you - not sure which boot I have. Roger
JANA
Roger, Thanks that would be appreciated. I did look under the boot lid, no eveidence of holes being filled, inside sprayed with body shultz then Royal Blue topcoat, ! So, not wishing to get the scraper out, the car is quite decent, your offer would be very handy. Let me know how you wish to supply ' your etchings/rubbings ' and , I'll oblige. Cheers Bob. ps. I'm in Reading.
RogerH
Hi Bob, sorry for the delay. I will make the template on Friday and make contact with you. Can you PM your address and I'll get it in the post as soon as I can. Roger
Capt005
Hi Bob, Not certain this will reach you. I have the same problem. A new boot lid and bonnet. If you have finished with Rogers template, any chance of sending it on to me? Bit of a cheek but it would be most helpful. Andy.

Bob. does this explain why Neil's 4a has extra holes above TR4a? is a Triumph plate for the boot easy to obtain?
peejay4A
It's not a plate but individual letters across the boot lid.
MartinAndNeil
It's not a plate but individual letters across the boot lid. No, got those..... Is there any directly above the TR4 on the right side of the boot? Edited August 5, 2012 by MartinAndNeil
RogerH
Hi M&N, if it is a 4A then it may have 'IRS' as well. There are 4 groups of lettering - 1. TRIUMPH across the boot in individual letters. 2. TR4 bottom RH corner 3. 'A' if it is a TR4A 4. IRS - unless it is a USA import. Roger
