Some strange people out there - saw this on 6-pack.

Why someone couldn't just sort the catch out, I do not know.

Assuming this was the reason, or some sort of weird retro fetish bling.

Totally rot free eh? Check out the boot ;-)

Some people wear shoes with a similar type (velcro?) fastening. I always assumed it was because they were too bloody lazy to tie up laces! Perhaps the same thing applies here?

Although looking at the colour scheme I think it's sadly just a case of bad taste :( (this from a man who's going to paint his TR6 sunburst yellow!).

Good attention to detail here. He's matched the Velcro stitching with the colour of the seats.

Talking of seats, Pilkie, you wanted some high-back seats, you could buy this car and take the seats out, put yours in, resell it no problem, it's soooo cheap, wonder why

Hi Ivor.

MM!! Bright red  I THINK NOT!!! Gotta be jet black!!

Would cost a little to much to import!

Also they are the wrong type of high back! I want the ones where the headrest tilts!

Got some push fit period karobe jobbies that are really comfy and look the part too!

I may get them re-covered to match my seats!!

Will now bide my time till the right set of seats eventually come my way!!

Hi Guy,

What makes you think it is a bonnet catch? It could be a device to hold the wings on.

That one reminds me of my car when I bought it,as it had the silver strip on the hood.

Kinda hard to find good seats over here, unless somewones gets an import

and doesnt want them!

Keep your eyes and ears open for a set,,!!! "leather would be nice" :P

The auction closed, 19 bids but the high bid of $5600 did not meet the reserve. It apparently comes with a hardtop in unknown condition but $5600 doesnt seem like it is a millions miles off given the state of this TR6.
