Jonny TR6
I have mild weepage on my overdrive sump plate (47 on the pic). There’s no leak down the side of the gearbox as I’ve had the selector seals sorted, but is it just a new gasket, or could the oil be leaking down the bolt threads ? PodOne
Not to worry it seems it's a normal part of TR ownership! Mines leaked slightly since a full rebuild. Stops the underside from rusting. Andy
Jonny TR6
A good point Andy - I can just go underneath every so often and wipe it all over the place with an oily rag !

Malbaby
I would double check that the leakage is not coming from elsewhere on the gearbox.
InfinityJon
I’ve just had a rebuild and mine leaks also and that’s before it’s turned a wheel. Can’t see how or why.
Mike C
Clean it up, wait a day or so then puff some talcum powder around the O/D to see if you can locate the leak's source.
