Moliver
Hello Gentlemen, Can anyone advise, how the carpet transfer/connecton (the E-shape back piece) to the back (tank) cover is supposed to be managed ? Just a "loose fit" or is it intended to install a fixing bar /fixing screws ? Advise/pirctures welcome Oliver
stuart
That bit is usually glued down, the tank board is screwed down and carpet goes over and up to the the board IIRC. Stuart.
Moliver
Hello Stuart, What does IIRC mean ? So what you are saying is, that the carpet does not slide underneath the board ?
Hamish
IIRC = If I Recall Correctly
MilesA
When I replaced the carpet in my 3A, the rear edge of this carpet panel was not trimmed with an edging strip. So as Stuart says it was glued down onto the floor panel but the back panel was reinstalled over the carpet to create a neat junction between the two. Miles
