The final part of my dry weather project was fitting the rear bumpers. On one side the tube through the rear panel was a loose fit and the bumper moves side to side. It is only a small movement on the tube but the bumper shows the movement from vertical.

I need some sealer that will be pushed in to the small crack round the tube from outside, no excess and all sealer easily removed when the bumper comes off again. The paintwork will be overhauled one day.

Can anyone suggested a simple answer please.

Thanks Richard & B

Is it the sort of thing you could pack with a short piece of tubing to prevent the movement?

Thanks for the answers. The gap is smaller than a matchstick so a filler is best and I am calling Autopaints in the morning. They supply my paint for the car and only do deliveries now the actual shop is closed. Last week I bought their paint for my wing job at the end of the month.

Thanks for the help
