John Morrison
Following on from my TR6 Electrical Gremlins post, and whilst not yet confirmed this, I'm probably looking to change the ignition switch. Looking at The moss Website, there seems to be a choice, namely;- Has anyone fitted any of these bodies onto the body of the key holder, and can it be done in situ, i.e. without removing the key holder and all that entails with pinch bolts etc? I will check which of these is fitted at the moment, but either of the items with tails would be convenient! John.
harlequin
Hi John Yes it can be done in place, it's a bit awkward upside-down under the dash but fairly straightforward. The only problem that I had was the wire colours on the new switch were wrong so I had to go through each switch positions with a meter to work out the connections George
John Morrison
Thanks George struggling to see how the switch barrel locates in the holder John
John L
I think you need this switch, https://www.moss-europe.co.uk/switch-ignition-starter-127651.html?assoc=125898 John

TR NIALL
Sorry John it looks like it’s a Push In fit there’s 3 Ramps around the Switch to hold it in place and it can only go in one way.
harrytr5
Much easier to take the drivers seat out then lay in the footwell (being a short arse works for me). Regards Harry
