John Morrison
Tr6 with what started as intermittent non start, seemed to sort itself after a few goes, got worse until it wouldn't go at all, and no ignition light, though starter would work if fed directly, so what would cause intermittent loss of all electrical power, first occasionally but eventually enough to need recovery? RobH
Duff ignition switch possibly. There is no fuse in the ignition circuit so it can't be that. The ignition light is powered from the switch so either there is no juice getting to the switch or it has failed. The intermittent fault could be failing switch contacts which have now quit completely. Edited May 20, 2023 by RobH
Mike C
Obviously you've cleaned and tightened the battery connections?
