John Morrison
One of this winters jobs is to replace the rear springs on my TR4. My car is post CT23000 and has the deep dish springs with spacer, on checking these are currently unavailable, has anyone converted a deep dish sprung car back to 'Ordinary' and if so can they confirm that it is a simple nut and bolt job? Cheers John.
Chilliman
Exactly what I've done on my green one John - dead simple swap, just remember you will need a new set of the spring plates (113181 & 113191) plus shorter U bolts (or cut back & tap your existing ones if they're good enough)

Motorsport Mickey
John, search for your local spring specialist and get the springs retempered to their original poundage and deep dish camber… that’s what I did with mine ( years ago) and it was very reasonable. John Morrison
Belated thanks for the replies guys, going down the route of switching to standard springs, just waiting for the bits to arrive. Mick, local spring man, is now 100plus miles, the springs I'm removing I had done by th elocal Jonas Woodhead depot in the town. Hey ho, we are going backwards. John.
