Don H.
I visited Macy's Garage last month and saw the supercharger kit Mark Macy is putting on his own TR3A. He's excited about it and mentioned that he would be happy to offer this to customers, but it appeared that Moss has discontinued their supercharger kit for the TR four-cylinder engine. Is that right? Anybody on your side of the water know differently, or know of alternative suppliers? @Peter Cobbold? @BlueTR3A-5EKT?
RogerH
Hi Don, they show a kit for an MGB but nothing for the TR 4 pot engines. Roger
Z320
From time to time I think this could also be the issue of a DIY project, sorry, not me, but I'm shure if I have the idea someone else did that already
Peter Cobbold
The Eaton M62 blower is often to be found on ebay, and a 2"SU also. The tricky bit is fabricating the manifold. Pullleys , brackets etc are relatively easy for a machine shop. But a ready-made kit is vastly less work, its a pity Moss have not persevered. Their 6 kit was NLA several years back, supposedly due to a Holly carb being NLA. Fitting a blower to RHD TRs is trickier than LHD due to proximity of steering and servo. Z320
Yeah I know, I always keep my eyes open for a Mercedes Eaton compressor for small money. Better I do not continue, to make one suitable will cost me too much time. Ciao, Marco
