Richard Pope
On this forum the preferred choice either is either Hardy Spicer HS195 or GKN GUJ116. It also seems that now at least, Hardy Spicer and GKN are one of the same. I am looking for quality UJ as opposed to Far East versions and each time I Google HS195, Google seems to automatically reference RTC3291. I’ve spent some time working out cross-references and find that the following are all the same. The dimensions at 27mm cap and 75mm length tie up too (these are rounded figures and some give mm to three decimal places for the same part). The following seem all the same: HS195, GUJ116, RTC3291, TVC100010, RTC4132, RTC3458, RTC3346 and QL403 (and a few others). The point is that RTC3291 and TVC100010 are Land Rover part references and genuine GKN ones are cheaper than GKN GUJ116 by about half give or take. Has anyone else used RTC3291 or RTC3458 non-greasable UJs? (Just a few of the many links https://www.island-4x4.co.uk/propshaft-75mm-greasable-guj103-guj116-rtc3458gkn-p-36366.html and https://www.johnrichardssurplus.co.uk/land-rover-universal-joint-rtc3291.html )

I do not know whether they still are? Bruce.

John L
I've just fitted TVC100010G, its in Hardy Spicer green box, but not sure where I got from now, ordered so time ago, this has a greaser, are your really looking for ones without greasers? Personally I think I want non-greasable simply because of not having to grease them. 50/50 really. .
