iain
How many of us have noticed that for the first time in many years, we are getting insect splatter on our car windscreens? In the past, insect numbers being low was blamed on farmers and insecticides......they haven’t changed their habits, but with traffic volumes massively lower has this had a positive effect? Lower pollution etc? Iain Edited May 23, 2020 by iain
RogerH
Hi Iain, you may be right about the traffic but it has been a very mild winter and very warm spring with hot spells. All good for insect procreation. Roger

Misfit
Iain Could it be that there are less cars on the road to have previously caught those flies before they hit yours.
Drewmotty
Maybe the roads are more clear and you are driving faster
