2long Posted April 25, 2017 Report Share Posted April 25, 2017 (edited) I think it is a little unusual that the commission number would be TS70 L, and the EB number also 70. The EB numbers were typically a little higher than the commission number. But build records from BP do show TS70L as being an Ice Blue car, one of a consecutive batch of 5 Ice Blue cars (TS 68 L through TS 72 L), all for USA export, all left hand drive without overdrive, and all made on Nov 2 and 3, 1953! With no commission plate visible, I wonder about the TS70L designation. Of course when finished it would make for a beautiful long door restoration for someone to enjoy.
