Dave Ashworth
Dear all, I am trying to research and engine number. There used to be lists available, one of which was on the Vintage Triumph Register, but I don't seem to be able to find one any longer. Can anyone please illuminate where these lists may be? The number in question, for those interested is: TCF2021E. Thanks. Dave.
Alec Pringle
Somewhere on the Club Triumph website . . . . . . TCF is I think late TR3B Cheers Alec
Dave Ashworth
Hi Alec, Thanks for that. I had a feeling it might be late TR3B. I'll check out the site. Cheers. Dave.

Dave Ashworth
Thanks Foster. That confirms it is a TR3B engine. I shall now advertise it for sale as I'm having a bit of a clear out. Dave.
TR 2100
The early series of engines in TR3Bs were prefixed TSF. The later ones were TCF. I think the TSF series would be TR3A specification (1991) and the TCF would be TR4 specification (2138) although much could have been changed over the years.
