rvwp
Hu Guys, Any recommendations regards a business that would service/repair of an A type overdrive. The overdrive in my 69 restoration has not been run for at least 20 years and thought I might have it checked out before running on the road next spring. Would be a pain to have to take it out of the car then, might be worth paying the price now to save possible agro? Cheers Rich

Richardtr3a
I used Cox and Buckles to remove the gearbox on Monday, I drove it up to Sheffield and delivered it early Monday evening. It was hard to find a pub with B&B for me and the dog. Bur we managed it. Tuesday I went on a tour of Restorations garage and workshop.. It was very impressive and no doubt that is reflected in my engine running without problem for over 20 years. Great for me but a weak business plan for Darryl. I collected the o/d late afternoon and drove it home. It had been overhauled and bench tested so it needs no further adjustment. I delivered it back to Alan at C&B and we were back on the road on Wednesday evening. First class service from ORS after some false starts before by other "specialists" Good luck Richard & H.
