pfenlon
I have always had problems with having some TR items rechromed. Its Mazac they cry, and say they will have a go and the results haven't been too successful. I have now found that ACF Howell in Walsall can replate this stuff extremely well, A cyanide tank is needed ??? I think. but I today found a local firm with a 3d printer to make a part for me, whilst he was inspecting the Aerial he said part of it was Zamac, a German name, so I looked it up. Amazing what you haven't known for many many years…………..Doh. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zamak

Waldi
Some 20 years ago ACF Howell rechromed parts for my XK140, including the zamak grille. They did concours standard work for me.
