How have you made the acc pedal work when changing from Left to Right hand drive.

I aim keeping the Clutch pedal and master as per LHD TR6

can it be done mechanically by rod, or is a cable preferable.

any ideas are welcome.

On my 3a I did it with a rod linkage. The pedal rod runs along the firewall with a big dog leg around the front of the brake and clutch pedals. It's broadly the same in the 4 as far as I am aware. It goes through the firewall on the opposite side of the gearbox tunnel to the LHD version.

I'm not at home at the moment otherwise I'd post a picture.

Have you asked TR Bitz as they did a whole host of LHD to RHD conversions.

Are you PI or Carb?

Carb Peter, they "Bitz" can do it other ways, by using a TR4 pedal and another clutch slave housing on top of the fab holding the pedal box.

But I wondered if there were any new ideas within the forum.

Hi Pete,

On my TR250 (same as a carb TR6) I intend to use a TR5 throttle pedal and then fitting the linkage from the 250 for the carbs. I don't see a problem with this setup although I haven't proven it yet.

Cheers

Hi Pete,

Not easy to photograph black on black but I hope this gives an idea of what I am doing. Let me know if you require any more detail.
