MichaelH
Dear All,As some of you may be aware, forest rallying in Wales has been in the media limelight of late, for reasons surround the costs being put forwards by the Natural Resources Wales (NRW) for the use of their forest roads for rallying. The NRW were quoting an increase in costs of double that of last year's fees, which would put an end to rallying in the glorious Welsh forests that have been the home to the sport which many thousands of people enjoy to watch, support, organise, compete and generally benefit from as locals to areas when the events are on.Today an e-petition was opened in order to raise the awareness of the number of people these proposed fee increases will affect, if rallying was to be stopped. https://www.assembly.wales/en/gethome/e-petitions/Pages/petitiondetail.aspx?PetitionID=943You are urgedl to sign the register to show the National Assembly for Wales how many people our beloved sport impacts, directly and indirectly. Thought this was important enough to pass on to TR rally fans Michael

Peter Cobbold
I reckon Clocaenog will be off-limits to rallies when 30 wind turbines, totalling ca 100MWic,are erected. NRW will make an estimated £10 million per annum from renting the land to the power company. It all goes to the coffers of Welsh Ass Govt. There are five other welsh forests suffering the same fate.
