ron88
Wondering if anyone has seen a set for the 4-A (clip on - I guess, at the windscreen posts). Have seen them for the TR-3, but not for the
RogerH
Hi Ron, don't know about the side deflectors but I was given a great idea, by my friend Gordon up in Scotlandshire, if you have a 4 or surrey top 4A, 5, 6 then you may be aware of a considerable noise (wind shear) from the windscreen top capping. With the use of a length of triangular section glazing rubber seal stuffed in the gap the noise magically disappears - honest. It really transforms the driving experience. Better than Webers any day. mike3md
...and I would add that small plugs in the backlight Surrey frame mounting holes are effective as well. I obtained a suitable section from our local double glazing firm, gratis! Not only is conversation possible at most speeds, but the reduction in wind noise leaves the induction/exhaust to be savoured....... Mike
BlueTR3A-5EKT
Wondering if anyone has seen a set for the 4-A (clip on - I guess, at the windscreen posts). Have seen them for the TR-3, but not for the 4 Look at this. Moss USA 647-010 - they have fitting instructions online. http://www.mossmotors.com/Shop/ViewProducts.aspx?PlateIndexID=29613&SortOrder=20 Moss Europe - Offer for TR2/3 but original Amco design have a curve at the bottom (looks like they have remade them with flat plastic) - Healey or MG T type might do. http://www.moss-europe.co.uk/catalogsearch/result/index/?p=1&q=wind+wings&search_group= USA Forum arcticle with view of them fitted. http://www.triumphexp.com/phorum/read.php?2,858228 On the other hand..... I think they are standard fitment on all Micho cars - just wind the handle sticking out the door casing and they rise or fall to your chosen height from the door. ron88
wow thanks - pretty much exactly what I was looking for - although I need to figure out if the weather seal has to be cut (and I don't want to - clip on, please!)
RogerH
Hi Ron, the weather seal needs to be long enough to fit under the capping. Roger

Read the Moss instructions that are linked to the sales info - it gives a photo of how much to cut http://www.mossmotors.com/graphics/products/instructions/647-010_INST.pdf Cheers Peter W Edited October 14, 2015 by BlueTR3A-5EKT
