Dave Ashworth
TR4 Do you remember the PG tips ad with the Chimps moving the piano down stairs? "Do you know the piano's on my foot Dad?" "You hum it son and I'll play it." Well, I dropped my back axle off the workbench today and fortunately, by some miracle of auto-response leap-dancing in a confined space, it didn't land on my foot, but it did land on a wheel stud and bent it by about 20 degrees, so now it needs to be ground out. It had already been welded in twice before. There has been much talk of studs on the forum and I know that Stuart has mentioned what to get and where to get it from before,. but alas, I can't find the information. There is mention of a Mr T, but his contact link doesn't seem to work Studs are 42mm long. Any help much appreciated. Thanks. Dave.

Dave Ashworth
Thank you gentlemen. I'll get on with the job. I'll perhaps borrow that lad who has a way with axles Iain. Mind you, Pete Cox figures you need two to manhandle them, so I don't feel too bad about it as he's probably handled more than most. Conrad: Too much stuff in the garage. Roll on Stoneleigh where hopefully I'll find new homes for quite a bit of it. I'll send you an email. Thank you Stuart for coming to the rescue. All the best everyone. Dave.
