Clarkey
Fellow Forumites As you all know i have taken the trailing arms out to replace the bushes. Now when i put the new ones in, does it matter which way i do it. The bush has one tapered edge, i.e. do they both face into the trailing arm so they are inserted from the outside in or the inside of the arm to the outside, if that makes sense Hard to explain what i mean sorry Edited January 17, 2015 by Clarkey
RobinTR6
Dont think it matters, maybe the tapered edge is to help with the fitting, ie use the tapered edge to start the process as they are a pretty tight fit. The ones Ive used in the past had tapered edges on both sides leading into the collar which sits on the edge of the arm. A picture would probably help, of the bushes that is. Kevo_6
Hi Clarky When I did mine I fitted the tapered ends facing each other. No reason, just thought it better this way.
