cookie
Hi all, Got the engine back in and have now just realised that our 74 CR has CP inlet manifolds. The car was running like this around 20 odd years ago, so guess it must be ok. Anybody got any thoughts on this and any problems that might be encountered. Thanks Dave
Red 6
No problem at all carry on. The earlier manifold and linkage is much easier to set up but remember to change all the linkage bushes before you re fit so that everything works smoothly.
paul7
Hi Dave I gave the same set up. CP manifolds on a CR engine no problems. I was told the CP manifolds are also a better option and easier to set up, so don't change anything.
RobinTR6
FWIW the CP have a different shape outlet at the head end apparently for the better as well as the linkage.
Steves_TR6
I have this setup too, as the others say it's no problem. Steve
