RogerH
Hi Folks, I went to stamp out the ali label on the offside of the engine bay yesterday and came to an abrupt halt. This is the one on the offside next to the Brake master cylinder - not the commission plate on the nearside next to the wiper motor. My heritage cert shows the number starting with a '0' as in 0xxxx - CT Is the '0' an error or does it denote something (as in overdrive on the commission plate). Somehow it just doesn't look right with the leading '0'. Roger
TR 2100
I dont have a 'leading' 0 on either of my TR4s on this plate (which I think is the bodyshell number). Both around the 7,000 mark, so April 1962. AlanR
RogerH
Hi Alan, thanks for that. Mine is March 62 and is 7xxx CT without the leading zero. I shall run with this. Roger
ianc
4VC, which is a January 1962 car, has 5xxxCT. No leading zero. Ian Cornish
MRG1965
Hi mine is very close to its commision no 31111 CT no leading zero either. April 64 As a point of interest, how would I go about getting heritage certificate? Mark
RogerH
Hi Mark, have a look inside TRAction - usually page 4 'information' Roger
Tony Millward
Hi Roger, Mark would find that difficult as he does not appear to be a TRR member and therefore doesn't receive TRaction... Mark, Just do a search for 'Heritage' on the forums and you should get a link for the certificate. Cheers Tony

RogerH
Hi Mark, you can't update the forum 'member' title. Give Wayne (press officer) a call - he has the power. Roger
