RogerH
...or you could simply refill the empty gun (having pulled the chain back) with another grease gun. The pointy nozzle of the full gun would get to the bottom of the empty chamber - simples Roger Edited June 2, 2015 by RogerH
RogerH
Hi Folks, just re-read Grahams post #20 and that is how we used to fill them at BEA/BA. A connector on the gun is attached to a hose from a huge tub that had its own hand crank pump. A few cranks and 'hey presto' all done No smarming done at all - shame really. Waldi
Reviving this old post because my second hand Wanner arrived today and made this humble engineer happy. I cleaned and filled as told above, and lubed the trunions, not because it was needed, but because I wanted! What I noticed it that the head of this quality pump does not leak around the grease nipple, as my other grease guns do. Well recommended. Waldi
Waldi
Allow me to promote another member (Billy) who sells a couple. I just noticed that Billy has a couple for sale in the “For sale under 250 pound” section, scroll down to May 13. For 1/2 the price I paid for mine! Buy it, you know you want it:) Waldi
