graeme
Nice car Neil, go on, you know you want to Similar spec to the Mk11 RS1800 we rallied in the late seventies. Happy days Cheers Graeme
TR24178
Yes this is a superb car and Jimmy a great bloke, you could not build it for the money, but you could buy my 205 bhp pinto engined version for £25k!! On the Manx Historic of 2006, the start line for the Ramsey stage featured the cars starting side by side at 30 second intervals, Jim was lined up to go off the line as we pull up to go 30 seconds later, a wave and a smile from one of the Gods of British Rallying just gives you such a boost!! We got to the stage finish and the marshall said 'that was a good time you beat McCrae' When we got back to service in Douglas I strolled over to asked Jim how it was going, 'we have pulled out we think she's dropped a valve' that was the only way we could have beaten him!!
