Andrew Smith
Sad as I am, I did a bit of research lunchtime and it seems that, from the official Triumph sales brochures, CP cars had the rear wing decals positioned closer to the rear light and later CR decals were positioned a little further from it as below - not sure if the was a change point other than the build dates for CP-CR? Maybe Derek Graham can shed some authoritative light on this subject? CP Sales Brochures 1969 - 1972 CR Sales Brochures 1973 - 1976 Cheers Andrew

alan57
I would suggest it is probably entirely random!! My (unrestored) CR appears to have the decal closer to the light cluster than my (unrestored) CP ! (So what, do I hear us all say??)
