BlueTR3A-5EKT
Just to prove that they existed... I have just raked through my garage and found the tooling set to install Dzus fasteners and their associated retaining washers plus the aluminium grommet in the bonnet. They work very well too, having used them many times over the past 35 years. I got them from Cox & Buckles at Harberson Road, Balham in the 1970's The tools are stamped DZUS see attached Edited May 19, 2010 by BlueTR3A-5EKT

Menno van Rij
Now, this is a tool that should be re-made! Perhaps a drawing with measurements to be published in TRAction? Menno
Ian Vincent
These look very similar to some tools that I bought back in the eighties for installing heavy duty press studs. I now know where to start if I have any difficulty when I get around to that stage of my rebuild. Thanks Rgds Ian
Rodbr
The tools seem to be available and quite reasonable provided the £ doesn't plommet any further. http://www.milspecproducts.com/tool.htm
