Just to prove that they existed...

 

I have just raked through my garage and found the tooling set to install Dzus fasteners and their associated retaining washers plus the aluminium grommet in the bonnet. They work very well too, having used them many times over the past 35 years.

I got them from Cox & Buckles at Harberson Road, Balham in the 1970's

 

The tools are stamped DZUS

These look very similar to some tools that I bought back in the eighties for installing heavy duty press studs. I now know where to start if I have any difficulty when I get around to that stage of my rebuild. Thanks
