lee
After getting one to complete my boot compartment. Can anyone confirm what was standard in the roll. Pics would be useful. Is it a black plastic affair? The car is a 73 and I guess that would have a relavance. Many Thanks
88V8
Here's one. Allegedly... No bids for some strange reason... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TRIUMPH-TR4-TR4A-TR5...%3A1|240%3A1318

TRF has a page in their blue catalog that displays all of the optional tools: http://www.zeni.net/trf/TR6greenbook/96.php Stan
Alec Pringle
Hi Ivor, at £80 no wonder there are no takers ! Hi Stan, I don't know about the States, but in England you'd have been lucky to even get a toolkit I reckon - I can remember Triumphs turning up for PDI and even the wiper blades and arms had been pinched, never mind the spare wheel and the tools. That's in the 1970s, lean years, if it wasn't bolted down, it walked ! Cheers, Alec
trfella
The ebay seller has put his prices up! Alec, it's the same today with things taking a walk if they're not bolted down! I work in the passenger service vehicle manufacturing market, and the chaps in the factory do like their "perks of the job"
lee
Yes I've seen that one but I reckon it could be too old. I'm sure they would have moved on from wooden screwdrivers by the 70's?
Alec Pringle
Hi Lee, nothing unusual about wood-handled screwdrivers in the early 1970s . . . and they were in Triumph toolkits. However, the ebay toolkit looks more 60s than 70s, the spanners and adjustable wrench for example. Cheers, Alec
