tr6driver
Hi. Is it any usable tyre with white stripe / wall on the market in uk usable for TR6 ? For 5,5" wheels. If it is , do you know of any UK dealer? Oystein
Rhodri
I can not answer your question, but avoid the separate white walls that fit between the rim and the wall of a normal tyre. They chafe the wall of the tyre and seriously weaken it to the point of being dangerous.
Andy Moltu
Roumour has it that flares, sideburns and Zapata moustaches are making a come back. White wall tyres and a tank top......

Alan Please dont do it!!!!

Guest ron
Oysten I've never seen them for sale, I would think the easiest way would be to buy a tin of white tyre paint which used to be readily available. Ron
Jersey Royal
Try this site might be worth a call, Firestone appear to do white walls. http://www.classictyres.com/lambrook/resul...p;CID=&PGE= Guy
Tom Fremont
Try www.coker.com in the U.S. They have an impressive offering including Michelin vintage tyres. Among them are a 165 R 15 whitewall radial and a Michelin 185 HR 15 XVS with either a light blue or white thin sidewall, and numerous oversize whitewall tyres for American cars which are still popular. tr6driver
I found that Pirelli P400 Touring tyres can be delivered with a thin white stripe , my TR6 is black. Oystein Look at this picture
trimprop
I remember seeing at Bromley one year a stall that sells stick on white walls for tyres - they looked good on, and there was a range of sizes. Thinking about it, why don't they do them in other colours? I'd buy red ones...

He didnt say it was his car, I assumed he just found an example on ebay to use as an illustration for his question. I'm still not sure though if he is asking: A. Do these tires fit B. Are these tires available or C: Should I do this, do they look right. To which I would answer yes, yes, no ! Stan
