Ecosse
Good Morning All, I have just replaced all hydraulics, clutch and brake, and after much bleeding of the systems there are still issues with pedal pressures and operation of the systems. Does anyone have knowledge of how to effectively bleed hydraulics on a 7. Thanks for any information. Cliff
jerrytr5
Have you tried using a vacuum brake bleed pump? Not specific to the 7 but I have found sometimes that these are better are pulling the fluid through than manual pumping. They're not expensive & worth having on the shelf. Ecosse
Jerry and 'Bfg', Thanks for the suggestions. After prolonged sessions of bleeding in the usual way I now have brakes. In addition to copious bleeding, the clutch required a mechanical modification in that an extension sleeve was required on the pushrod to achieve sufficient travel of the release bearing to act on the diaphragm.
