rwest Posted April 24 Report Share Posted April 24 I'm trying to re-grease my steering rack, but instead of the usual grease cap, this is what I found. The outer nut is 1.25" and appears to be a locking nut. The allen key appears to be 7/16", although it could be 12mm - I can't tell for sure as I don't have a big enough allen key.
