frank_s
Hi, does anyone know of a source or solution for replacing this part - TR4 / 4A window lower channel RH 750091? My one is too corroded to weld repair. Alternatively does anyone have a spare they're happy to sell? Thanks, Frank
RogerH
Hi Frank, four or five years ago Pete Wigglesworth put a post on showing a source for something very similar. The channel will work but it will take some fettling. I think I have 4 in my todo box. They were about £5 each. I'll have a look for Pete Forum handle and posy it here. BlueTR3A-5EKT If the original source is dead then You can have one of mine. I'll look in the garage to see what needs doing. I thinkl it came from a BL salon car !! Thanks, Frank Rimmers stock them for TR5/6 you maybe able to make up one to suit with a bit of cutting and shutting though I have no idea of fit or form of their item. https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-712836 IIRC a Mini Metro channel is also a source of parts too. RogerH
Hi Frank, following Stuarts lead - here is the Metro regulator from Rimmers. Dead cheap worth buying one to see if it can be adapted. https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-GRID000630 Roger

RogerH
Ooops! didn't see that. However the channel may be usable with the bottom slides replaced. Roger

Roger Its usually the channel section that rots where the water lays so yes that bit will probably help and just transfer the regulator slides to it. Stuart.
