markaluge
I fitted new floor pans which came with the captivated nuts for the seat rails pre-positioned. They match the pre-cut holes in the underfelt from Jon Skinner. With the carpets and rails fitted the distance between the studs which go through the seat bases is 11.5” rail to rail. But the holes on the seat base are 11” apart I must be missing the obvious, but it’s not coming to me; can anyone tell me what I am missing here please? Ian Vincent
Stupid question. Are you sure the seat bases are from a sidescreen car? Rgds Ian
markaluge
They came out of this car. I have just changed the floor pans. They look right and the set of covers I purchased fit perfectly.
RobH
I'm not sure it's possible to get them wrong but are the channels mounted the right way round? The L of the floor rails point outwards on each side.
markaluge
Ignore me, I have just worked it out. The vertical railed part of the rail needs to be on the inside and not outside as I had fitted them. Dohh!
