Oil Pressure Guage

Hi All,

Just about to connect up oil pressure guage.

I have new pipe as shown in pic - does this just screw onto the guage or should there be some sort of sealing washer ?

There should be a leather sealing washer Dave.  (e.g.  Moss part number 2K4936 washer sealing oil tube, or Rimmer part no 54902).

Should be a leather or other suitable sealing washer fitted between pipe end and gauge.

Where are you?

I think I have a couple of NOS spares in the instrument and trim drawer.   I used to use them under the lift-the-dot hood and tonneau pegs on the body to protect the paint, but have now gone to plastic washers.

Yours for the postage if I can find one.

Thanks very much for the offer - I found  some leather in garage so used hole punches and we are up and running with no leaks.

Engine alive  after 8 years!
