Stromberg CD175 s2 fixed jet adjustment

I know this is an older posting, but if my reply to it can help someone, here's what I've done.

From the level of the bridge, the depth of the fixed jet should be roughly .095 to .115 from what I've learned.  I've used this height to replace three jets in CD175-2. This is not a procedure to be taken lightly.  You must protect the carburetor from damage, supported well if pressing out the old jet, and when pressing in the new jet.  Moss sells a special tool for this as well.  I believe it is still less than $100.
