Have taken a few bodies of chassis in my time and last week removed a TR250 body from its Chassis.

The floor sections have 4 bolts forward and 3 Bolts near the B post, and the sealant is still not quite Baked on after all these years sat in a Californian Barn.

It must be good stuff, but what exactly was it, and is there a similar replacement for when its reunited with its chassis?

Pete it would have been Expandite Sealastic M1

I use the non setting windscreen sealant these days, works well.

This stuff reportedly never hardens.  I can only vouch for about 10 years.
