foster461
From a previous thread on great British TV shows we have been working through the long list and we are currently watching the delightful but short series The Detectorists and to my surprise (in addition to the yellow TR7) was Dianna Rigg as the mother in law and her real life daughter Rachael Stirling as Becky. Really like this series and a treat to see Dianna Rigg and how much of her is in her daughter.
Lebro
Detectorists was a brilliant series, hoped it would continue, but sadly not. Bob

Bob The great Toby Jones was a inspired choice for the lead and of course the series writer Mackenzie Crook also shares with his "goofy" eccentric role. Always brightened the evenings TV viewings watching the various animals and insects written into the screenplay along with the gentle folk guitar melodies. A series which always bears rewatching whenever it's repeated or streamed on various channels. Mick Richards Edited September 23, 2020 by Motorsport Mickey
