pfenlon
I made period ones for my car, you can still buy plastic period letters off Ebay, mostly black these days, but I painted them cream and used a sheet of alloy to fit them to. The black car found a new owner years ago (2013) but the spitfire's plates I made last year.

pfenlon
Thank you, according to the DVLA there are only 22 MK1 cars on the road today, There must be some sorted and hidden around though. I fitted MX5 seats which are OK , But I have the original seats but the seat base springs were shot and I could not find any new ones, expensive to buy covers for too.
