ijonsson
I need 6 bulb holders but the prices are ridiculous, Limora 22 euros, Rimmer 10 pound, Moss 9 pound, EACH, and that doesn't even include the bulb! Is there an alternative or should I try making my own?
Don H.
Others will know better, Inge, but I think you have options not considered. Something like this at £1.24, perhaps, or one of the other variants? http://www.autoelectricalspares.co.uk/170136-bulb-holder-fits-smiths-instruments--gauges-ba9s-1525-p.asp
BlueTR3A-5EKT
how big is the hole in the instrument back? Would something like this do? They are used on moderns like TR4-6. Cheap at just over GBP 2.00 https://www.autoelectricsupplies.co.uk/product/457/category/81 Your challenge is the two holders that fit in circular clips on the back of the centre instrument panel. All the instrument panel bulb holders on the TR2/3 are single wired with earth return through the body. The two warning lights are twin wired so do not self earth when fitted. Slightly cheaper at Leacy MG http://www.leacyclassics.com/70066.html Peter W
ijonsson
Thanks, I'll check your suggestions. Earth connections can always be fixed.
