classic225
Hi Guys, Just took this cardboard air duct out of the box and I have no idea how to fit it on the car; Is it attached on the inner fenders or on the front nose section. And I do realize the importance of this section for proper cooling. Thanks, Yves
Ian Vincent
On my 3a it is attached to both the inner wings and down into the flat bottom surface of the front intake with self tappers though the folded flange on the bottom of the cardboard duct. McMuttley
same advice as Ian. on mine the duct was too tall, so a degree of fettling may be required, once shaped, maybe paint it body colour /varnish) to extend life (with extra coats on the folds / edges)
RobH
There was a thread a little time ago which discussed this - and I seem to remember someone posted a photo of the arrangement. Worth a search? This for instance (though the pics are of alloy ones) http://www.tr-register.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/56060-radiator-duct-folds-and-installation/ Edited September 19, 2016 by RobH
