Glynn Hobbs
OK, so most of you know my car and that it has just about every period accessory available to it, but......................have just found this on ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TRIUMPH-TR3-AND-TR4-JUDSON-SUPERCHARGER-RESTORED-AND-COMPLETE-READY-TO-INSTALL-/282072326208? hash=item41acd22040:g:hVUAAOSwvg9XZeyF Have to say that I am very tempted, but would it be a step too far? Alec Pringle
The old Judsons worked adequately on VW flat-fours, but there are easier and cheaper ways of getting performance out of a TR. Distance lends enchantment . . . . the reason these things are rare now is because way back when many of us tried them - and sooner or later consigned them to the scrap stillage. Usually sooner. Sure, it is now old and expensively restored cr*p rather than new cr*p, but it's still cr*p. Cheers Alec

Geko
Before Brexit I sold one for £300 to a TRR member... with bit of work though Seriously, they don't come very often but circa £2K for a proper one should be about right.
cherry
And when I came to install my identical Judson on my TR2 I could not bring myself, if I recall correctly, to saw off the RHS radiator stay, remove the horn and I think it also needs a ding in the inner guard, seemed a crime after all the work restoring. So read the fitting instructions first, unlike me... I sold it off with everything you see AND the original boost gauge, which alone was worth about US$750 for around $2,000. I have a feeling it might also be for sale again (in Australia) Cheers Chris
Glynn Hobbs
On reflection, I agree with you Chris. My original thoughts were that it would be nice to have another period accessory, but I think it would be a 'step too far'!
