Mark69
On the rear floor panel ,just behind the chassis bridge fixing holes, there are two indents one either side. On my panel these have been repaired ( not very well). I want to repair and wondered if they are their for any particular reason, I can't think why. Can I replace with flat metal ?. Steve T
Did you mean this bit? If so, I haven't the foggiest either. Unless it is of use on the TR4 or 5?
Mark69
Steve, Yes that's the boy , I've noticed there's a recess on the inner wheel arch were they meet.
SeanF
Mark, I've just had a look at mine and I cant see that they are performing any useful function. Possibly adding a bit of rigidity.. but I cant see that the indent is for any clearance or space reason Sean
boxofbits
Hi Mark I'd imagine that they are to add strength to the panel, but not sure what their function is. Regards Kevin
