TRseks
Caustic cleaning is caustic soda? Good stuff, but be careful with it as it's corrosive, don't use it on aluminium as it will dissolve it. Magnus Edited December 2, 2015 by TRseks
Rob Salisbury
For Aluminium use Oxalic Acid (instead of dishwasher powder) in the dishwasher set on hot, gives brilliant results. Make sure SWMBO has gone out for the day!!. Anyone remember cooking Rhubarb in an Aluminium saucepan and how clean it looked afterwards? Oxalic Acid is found in Rhubarb leaves. Tip .....Gearbox cases fit nicely in 12 place dishwashers!! Cheers Rob
AlanT
Domestic drain cleaner. A spoonful. This plate is aluminium, it might dissolve after a while, but this is all over in 15 seconds. Not much longer than the video. Edited December 2, 2015 by AlanT
