JohnG
All Good afternoon Sitting in the car this afternoon, having been out on a short run (about an hour), I started the engine and, for no particular reason, sat watching the instruments. The volt meter took about 20 seconds to rise from rest to just over 13 volts, where it settled. (She runs at abut 13.5 volts, not quite halfway between 13v and 15v) Is this delay normal? peejay4A
As its a very crude thermal (bimetallic strip like the fuel gauge) instrument that's reasonable. Edited September 27, 2015 by peejay4A
