Mark1965TR4aBRG
Folks MOT today and my stalk flash isn't working for some reason. Will I need it as lights are fine side, dipped and main - just the flamin switch? Thx
RogerH
Hi Mark, I don't think you will need the flasher. Some of the posts on here suggest that not all TR's have the flash facility. Roger

PaulAnderson
Not sentirely sure what you mean by 'stalk flash'. My own TR4A can only operate the full beam by means of the foot switch, the column switch doing nothing but turning side and dipped headlight only. Paul
stuart
Column switch should have a flash facility by pulling the stalk towards you, it was always a very poor setup and didnt age very well as the contacts corroded or the strip one side bent away, so it doesnt work on very many cars. Not actually required for MOT on our cars so dont worry and investigate at your leisure this winter. Stuart. Edited October 2, 2014 by stuart

I did get it to work a few years ago and until recently my wedged piece of card was working fine. By the sounds of it I'll be OK and will when I'm at a loose end will indeed have a look.
