phil3uh
Hi all, This will doubtless been asked before, but here goes. I have a rev counter that makes a noise and has a needle that flies about with little relevance to engine speed. The speedo although silent also is a little erratic also, so at the end of the summer it is my intention to remove them and send away for checking and or refurbishment. My question is where do I send them? I know there will be a wealth of knowledge out there, and plenty of good and bad experiences , so lets hear them. RogerH
Hi Phil, if you do a search you will find quite a lot of posts on the subject. Speedycables and JDO come up quite often and they have their own following - you either love'em or hate'em. JDO appear to have a faster turn round time. Roger
Pogo
Like Roger says lots of thoughts on this. My speedo was similar to yours - needle moved about so you knew you were going anything between 50mph and 80mph! No noises, but annoying. I sent it to JDO for refurb and it is great now. I didn't have it calibrated, but I know he does that too. No connection etc. Roger
