Daz
I have searched here but cant find any info, I have tried Rimmer, Moss etc but can't find a new speedometer. Are they available? I could get my old one rebuilt but its a bit tatty and has been repaired (badly) before. Any help would be great, thanks
Beachie
Try Speedy Cables. They supply instruments and also calibrate them. The kit car fraternity of which I used to be into use them extensively.
AlanT
Come up on eBay fairly often. Make about £80-100. You may have to import http://www.ebay.com/itm/triumph-tr6-speedo-/231095735566?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item35ce61150e&vxp=mtr This works OK but you have to add VAT and customs costs. Daz
Thanks all, I have spoken to Speedy Cables and they don’t do a TR6 speedo, lots of standard Smiths instruments but not one with the high beam, indicator lights. So I shall refurb my own, how hard can it be? I have a few old smiths speedos in a box somewhere I shall dig them out and have a go.

Dave K
JDO did a good job on mine recently. Turned it around inside a week as well. Dave
DIYBOSSCAT
Ditto, JDO did a brilliant job on both speedo and rev counter - as good as new, and back within 48 hours. Vince.
flyer295
Speedy Cables do a super job, BUT, don't be in a hurry. It took them 5 months to do my tacho. Bob
PIAA
This is copied from a post last year: Purchased a used speedo from TR-Bitz for ca 30£, they sent it directly to reconditioning at Speedograph Richfield who returned it to me after the work done. Avoided then to be without a speedo and have one as spare now. The work done by Speedograph Richfield was converting from mph to kph and restoring. PIAA
Percy TR6
http://www.jdo1.com/ I've used JDO to refurb both speedo & tachometer over the last 9 months. Did a great job on both (IMHO) with free 48 hour turnaround! Steve
jamesStag
Daz, Another +1 for JDO. He recalibrated and tidied up my TR6 tacho recently. Good job, prompt and reasonable price. No connection just a happy customer... Cheers, J.
